• This website’s primary purpose is to preserve “lost” (or almost extinct)
“knowledges” from the First Wave of Socialism/Communism
(distinguished by Marxism-Leninism).
• Our goal is to provide a partisan library
to revolutionaries who will create the Second Wave. -
TECHNICAL : Why this website? -
• This website’s primary purpose is to convert certain books from paper
to ASCII text.
• Our ASCII text files attempt to match, mirror and model the original book. -
What are ASCII text files good for? -

• ASCII text files, once errors are corrected, are useful as masters for other formats.
•
• If all other formats are derived from ASCII text,
then each electronic version of the same book should be identical.
• For example, HTML and PDF versions of the same book will be the same.
•
• For example, ASCII text from this site may be easily
transformed into ASCII text as required by [ Project Gutenberg ].
•
• Another example, ASCII text from this site may be
transformed into webpages and stored at [ Marxists Internet Archive ]. -
How is this site different? -

• Here you see the book and nothing but the book.
•
• Here all books pass through the same process,
resulting in high quality (in the end).
•
• This site strives to archive books printed by certain publishing houses,
not books written by certain authors.
•
• This site begins with a bibliography that’s as thorough as possible.
( At the very least, please contribute to this project
by checking our [ Long List of Titles ] and submitting new titles. )

• On this site you may find books written by authors who are not dead (whereas Marxists Internet Archive sticks to dead authors).
Some books are written by authors, sometimes dozens of them.
Some books are written by authors who have remained anonymous.

• Here “originals” are ASCII text files.
•
• Here the focus is on the written word, to the exclusion of other formats
such as images, movies and sounds/music.

• Here 99% of all webpages are auto-generated by scripts.
•
• Here we take quality control (quality assurance) very seriously.
