p It is an encouraging development that the initiative of bringing together of Communist and Workers parties comes from the Indian working class and its Party. It is another shining example that the flag of Marxism, Communism and Communist solidarity is unswervingly flying high, reflecting the strong desire of the toiling people of all countries. I hope, the Seminar in Calcutta would attain a great success and it would hold high the ideology of the working class in a period when Socialism in the Soviet Union suffered a tragic and devastating setback.

p The Calcutta meet will undoubtedly help the cause of scientific socialism.
