International relations are invariably pivoted on the questions of European security. Europe is the main area of military confrontation between the most powerful military-political alliances. An enormous economic potential and colossal cultural values are concentrated in this region of the world. And it is here that the imperialist forces have launched a new round in the arms race. The United States started to deploy their new medium-range missiles in a number of West European countries in the end of 1983.
